Kaluani making an announcment (all IC-Belt interested read!)



by Kaluani on Sun Jun 29, 2008 1:00 pmAfter the last match, the ring is empty and chant and cheer for their champs to appear and fight on the show. All of a sudden, lights dim and in the half-dark, a fiugre appears in the entrance. You can't exactly see who he is, but some fans, espacially those near the entrance start to scream and cheer.

John: Now who is that, and what does he want?

Christine: I know very well who that is... DO you see that robe? There's only one person in the GEW wearing such strange clothes...

John: You mean it's...?

Christine: Oh yeah !

You see the figure moving to the ring, and as he reaches it, he puts down his cap and the lights come back, then you see Kaluani's face. Now all the fans go crazy and chant and sing.
Kaluani takes the Intercontinental Belt from his waist and raises it in the air and then smiles at the audience.
Without having a microphone, Kaluani starts to speak:

Kaluani: "Well, well... Hey Fans, do you see this? This is the Intercontinental Belt, and I would really like to say it's the "Elemental" Belt. But whatsoever, I am pretty well aware that there are lot of people in our federation who want this gold. And even if the elements themselves could fight back them all at once, I am only their messenger. But I figured out a great way to determine the next #1 Contender and I thought you all would be glad to hear it. Do you want me to ?"

The Fans scream "Yes, Yes!, Kaluani, Kaluani!"

John: "Oh, now I am really interested, what is he going to say?"

Christine: "Shut up, I want to hear him talk!"

Kaluani smiles at them, then faces the entrance.
"Know what guys? I could beat you all, but hey, that is not my job. My job is to get everything here to go it's right ways. And to give hell of a show to the fans, and that's exactly what I am planning! I do not know how many you are in number, but look at this!"
Kaluani points to the titantron, and as it slowly starts to show a picture:



Christine: Oh no, that cannot be true!

John: Oh, but it seems it is!

Kaluani: "Yeah people! Know what? I count 7 matches there, and know something more? Seven matches fit into one fucking Grave Yard Brawl Show!"

The crowd goes crazy thanks to this announcment and cheers Kaluanis Name even louder.

Kaluani: "I think I will call this "the elemental tournament" for the title! And the winner of it will face me on the same week in the next Devils Revenge Show, now is that an offer? But... As you all see, I have only so far written down 2 Names in the matchups... There's still 6 open spaces - so who also wants to get hold of this shiny gold here, come out and I will put you down on the list, by random on any place."

Kaluani smiles and lets the fan cheer him, as he once mor raises his voice.

Kaluani: "Oh, I forgot to say one thing. I want to give a chance to everyone in the federation who wants to! So even if you are a newcomer, first come, first served I say! The first 6 guys that appear here will be put on the list, and hell, next weeks Grave Yard Brawl will be one damn show!!!"

Christine: "Wow, that is a great announcment! I wonder who will turn up first?"

John: "Oh Yes, and I am so damn hot to see next weeks show - it will be so damn exciting, we will not even get a second to breeze! Whew, this is just great, people!"

"Wow, a big announcement Kal, and kudos to you for trying to find the best opponent to challenge your belt. You know last week on Devils Revenge with the help of Paulley I started to gain a little respect around here, so when I go through everyone and take your belt and put it around my waist maybe EVERYONE willl start to show me the respect I fully deserve.

Leon drops the mic and walks off backstage.

Kaluani: "Hey, Leon, it's a long time you and me last fought here. Hope it'll be a good one, if you`re winning the tourney."

Then he turns to John and Chistine, sitting at their commentators table next to the ring.

Kaluani: "Hey you!"

John: "who, me?"

Kaluani: "No, that great-looking woman next to you."

Christine gives a smile to Kaluani, as he pulls out a dice from a small bag at his waist. He hands it over to Christine.

Kaluani: "Girls and Gambling is always a good combination... Now, give it a shot. See, there are 6 empty spaces, numbered from left to right with 1-6. Whatever you roll on the dice will be Leon's place in the tournament."

Christine rolls the dice over her table and it turns and twists and stops... at a five!!

Kaluani looks over to the titantron who is slowly beginning to put down leons Name on the second place from the left. Then he takes seat on the commentators table and waits for the next opponent to show up.

Kaluani: "I think I will just sit here for the rest of the show, maybe someone will show up after the next match... Let's see, John, what do we have?."

John: "(OOC: Insert next match, have to make some fighting breaks before it gets to long in one part)

I Think its a pretty obvious fact that you cant have an elemental tournament without GEW's latest in a long line of Lightnings BBC smirks and that's something that Kaluani should know considering its his lightning we now have... we took your lightning. we stole your thunder. and now were gonna take your gold. BBC directs the booing crowds attention to Paulley who takes a deep breath and roars ROAAR!!!! as the lights go outs and blasts of lighting strike all over the arena and thunder blasts out from every corner. GEW commentators try to respond to the chaos Oh my G... he's... crazy... devast... he.. unstoppa..

We'll talk about the Lightning later... You know, it doesn't care if you have it, because wou'll never learn how to really use it...
Oh, right, where in the tourney will he start, Christine?"

Christine rolls the dice, which Kaluani handed over and rolls a three!

Kaluani: "Well, well, that's the last place of the left column. So at least you won't be facing your buddy Leon before the finals... If you ever reach them!"

The tourney is supposed to be e 9th, that's right. I won't be there myself (Work) but I'll take care everything will work out. I will take the most active people during a draw, if they are both active and RP-ing, I will flip a coin.

John: "Hey, A four, that means we have our very first matchup for the tournament!"

Christine: "Oh Yeah, and I am sure Yellow Girl will beat the hell out of El Lobo!"

John: "Now there's only three places left. I wonder who will be the last fighters."

John: "Incredible!!! This means Bret has to fight Theram, and only one of them can be the winner!"

Christine: "Oh Yeah, if that does bring the Tag Team together..."

John: "now only two more places. I am really interested in seeing who will be the last ones, and even more, I can't wait to the tournament!"

Making his way to the ring, with three latinas walking by his side, is El Lobo with his trademark mischevious grin lingering on his lips.
As he makes his way into the ring, he leaves the beauties behind and moves up to stand beside Yellow Girl. The Latino looks her over with a more then mild interest and nods his head in approval.
El Lobo: 'Ay ay ay, Chica...I treat you like a Diva anyday Muchacha.."
There is no question about what El Lobo is thinking, and the Latino fans in the arena responds well with cheering and whistles.
John: Oh my god, is he trying to bring the Jungle backstage?
Christine: He is such a pig.
A wink of an eye towards Yellow girl and the hand signal for her to call him, El Lobo then turns to look at Kaluani.
El Lobo: "Hola Nature boy...I see ya put me on the list, glad I dont have to ask..But seriously, you need to put all those people between me and you...You that scared homie?"

All the time between the matches, he stares outside to the entrance, still awaiting his last two fighters for the tournament.

Kaluani: "Hey, Guys, we still have two places left, and there are so many talented wrestlers back there who would deserve the shot! I would know two people to insert if no one wishes..." he smiles "... but I would like to see the people coming here themselves! So, hey, everybody who has the guts, come here!"

Strobe lights begin to pierce the gloomy darkness as smoke begins to rise up from beneath the ring. The ominous sounds of a lone cello drones through the place, as the tension begins to build.

Suddenly, the inky blackness is lit up by a familiar video as the crowd yells in recognition.



The opening riffs of Danzig's "Am I Demon" resonates against the walls of the arena as a huge blazing pyro shoots out from beneath the ramp. The glow of the flames reveal a familiar figure standing at the top of the stage.

"THE DEMON" DOMINIC KORGATH

"Well, well, well," he intones, his baritone voice soft but menacing. "You've got yourself a nice little tournament here, it seems, Kaluani. But it's missing something. More accurately, it's missing someone. You see, Gallows Extreme Wrestling has evolved over the past two months into a fascinating product, but let's not forget the people who were there right from the beginning, making sure it took off as a viable federation."

He paces down the ramp towards the ring.

"I'm talking, of course, about me. Now, in the past couple of weeks, I've been little more than fodder for the upcoming stars, being fed to the likes of Toki Wartooth and the two British blokes. It's time I took matters into my own hands. I'm signing myself up for this tournament. Not just to give it some credibility, but also to get the opportunity to earn that stake in GEW I so richly deserve. The GEW Intercontinental Title. Around my waist."

Dominic Korgath, a mountain of muscle and a presence to behold, steps into the ring as he stares right at the Vice-GM Kaluani.

"They say Lightning never strikes in the same place twice. That's why I don't take lightning as my totem. I'm telling you, Kaluani, I'm hellfire, and I sweep past anyone and everyone in my way."

The fires burn around the ring, enveloping it in flames, and suddenly, The Demon is gone.

John: what's this? is this power failure?

Christine: hmm, i don't know, but this is bit scary!

*few seconds after whole entrance is covered by huge fire*
*black fog is rising from the walkway, 4 dead druids enters carrying skull torches and finally shadow appears on entrance in Black Robe of Judgement*

*whole crowd is asking themselves ''what is this?''*

Kaluani: You there... what are you doing and what you want?

*Daxx enters the ring between firewalls*

Daxx: Kal, you didn't wanted to start this tourney without Judge? didn't you?
Daxx: That IC-Belt looks nice... it would just suit fine among my skull collection

John: Christine do you know who is this creature?

Christine: No John, haven't seen him before here! However he looks quite frightening

Daxx: i'm new in this show, but i'm sure that belt suits me more than Kal and i came here to took it!

Kaluani: "Well, well, then it's settled! Two more people and we're in. Korgath was first, so Christine, would you do me the favor and giving him a place in the tournament? On a 1-3, his opponent will be paulley, on a 4+, he'll fight Leon! Whatever the case, He'll have a chance to fight back the Tag Team Stuff..."

Christine rolls her dice, and in the end, it shows a three!
Kaluani looks satisfied and to the creature in the ring.
"Well, well... Daxx, it seems you have to take up with Leon !"

He smiles, and then points up to the titantron, which now puts in the last combattants on his sketch.



Kaluani: "Now look at this... I promise, next weeks Grave Yard Brawl will be one hell of a show, Fans!"

Hope we get to rescue everything needed

And Hey, most of this can be seen next wednesday...

And by now, I seriously hope that the one who wins the tournament also defeats me, because I am advancing through level 8 very fast and have to give away the title with reaching level 9 anyway
